TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
The 1995 Jeff Berberich Memorial Invitational Tournament held at the Hombre Golf Club was an outstanding success.
We started out planning a golf outing for the family, relatives, and friends, thinking we might have 30 or so golfers, as it turned out we had over forty, guest, family, relatives, and friends from Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, and Florida.
We had no idea we would get this kind of response the first your, and Dan McGrath and his staff at the Hombre were great at helping us put the entire event together, making it a huge success. We had a field of 68 players including family, friends and sponsors. We are planning an even bigger event next year and hopefully many of our friends and neighbors will have the opportunity to participate.

The two-day event concluded with the Berberich sons and their wives presenting a check for $4300 to the Anchorage Children’s Home in memory of their brother, Jeff.

We are already planning for next year’s event and looking forward to and even greater field of participants.

The winning team this year was Bob Fries, George Fries, Bob’s brother from Michigan, Dud Milbrath a very good friend from Michigan and Tom Whelan. Each winner received a 16 Inch round glass engraved trophy to retain for one year, in addition to a gift certificate to Hombre Golf Club for each. |
